Question will fourth-gen seats mount easily in 3rd

i want to put some nice 4rth-gen leather in my 87 iroc. is this possably with minimal work? if not, what do i need to do to accomplish my goal?

No problem bolting in except if they are power seats and then you will need a power source. Again not a major problem. I have 96 Z-28 seats in my 87 IROC-Z and they are a improvement over the original ones.

I think all you need is a 12V and ground connection. Should be simple to wire since you fuse box is closeby. The seats may ground themselves when bolted in, so you would only need a 12V source.

If you don't have the body connector for the car, consider getting one. That way if you have to remove the seat, you won't have to cut any wires.

Yes, the rears also unless they are the split ones. And unless your car has them now, some modification is required.

Will new-style monte carlo/grand prix/bonneville seats work?
I'd like to ugprade to some leather seats in my car, but I just can't stomach paying $600-700 for fourth gen leathers.

I was looking into that but I found a set of black leather seats locally for $60. I patched the drivers side bolster and it looks good as new.
