Wife killed my car

My wife was recently in a accident she wasnt hurt seriously but i cant say the same for the car. it took a pretty good shot to the front right corner and busted the battery . it took forever just to get the battery out. replaced the battery and now it will crank but wont start . does anyone no if ther is a fusable link or anything like that directly behind the battery? maybe to the ecm. doesnt seem to be getting any fire its a 88 sport coupe 305 tbi

fuel pump fues maybe?

Could be. the reason i was leaning toward spark and not the fuel pump is because we shot a little starting fluid in it and it still wouldnt even try to start

I'm not sure it doesn't have one of those "Impact Reset" buttons, you know when it take a hard shot it trips the "Inertia Switch" and must be reset to run...I haven't researched it but my cousin's '88 S10 had one under the glove box somewhere...

the ECM/Fuel Pump fuse is in a inline holder on the fender right next to the batt, check the fuse and see if there is power there

Yank a plug wire and stick a spark plug in it and ground the threads. Crank. If you see a blue flame you have spark.
