Anybody know where the MAP sensor is located and what it looks like?

already did a search, only complaints about the MAP no pics or location posts.

 

map sensor should be on fire wall by wiper motor it is black with one vacuum line and one three wire plug

 

No, on a 90-92 TPI engine, its on the passenger side of the TPI intake, in the back above the #6 and #8 cylinders. Its a black rectangle on the side of the plenum.

The TBI's have it mounted on the firewall, but on the passenger side. The wiper motor is on the driver's side firewall.
