When is it time to go bowtie?
When is it time to go bowtie?

I have to ask you guys, I swear to god I'm so close to blowing up at that guy....
At what point do you guys think it's time to move on from a standard 350/400 SBC to a bowtie block?
I know that power limits are very vague and that you COULD run very high HP and be lucky and have it survive. But from the perspective of a performance shop or someone who has alot of experience with HIPO buildups what is the general rule of thumb for moving from standard to bowtie. Assuming you want maximum street life and light drag duty on the weekends. I know it's a very vauge number, but can someone give me a NUMBER...not a bunch of BS I got from thirdgen.
thnx
