thinking about changing my wheels on my car. what do you guys think would look best. 17" chrome firehawks, 17" 10-spoke SS wheels chrome, or 18" z06 chrome?

which one of these or do you have a better suggestion?

 

Out of those...Z06s.

I can't stand TT2s on 3rd or 4th gen cars, for the most part...but I know a ton of people love 'em and will probably tell you to get some. I am going with ZR1s. I want 315s on the rear, and I can do that with them. Z06s can't take 315s on 10" wide wheels, that's why I don't have them.

yeah, i don't like the TT2 enough to put them on my car. i also would like something that isn't seen as much, but is clean looking.

can't please everyone; but i don't want it to be a thing of "man what the heck did he do that for"

i'd stick with mine if i could get them in 17" to make things easy. for somereason i don't think the irocs look good on the 91-92 style.

all suggestions welcome though.

 

Another thing to remember or consider...

Buying tires for 18" wheels is EXPENSIVE. Maybe that doesn't matter to you, but it does to me so I think about that. I would stick with 17"s like you said you wanted to.

IMO the early thick C5 rims look killer on a 3rd gen. In the last issue of GMHTP they have a black and white photo of a thirdgen with the 10 spokes, it looked ok. Now that I think about it, theres a red Z on thirdgen.org that has the 10 spokes, do a search over there Im sure you'd find it. The Z06 rims would look great, too

 

Chuck is right those C5 rims look AWESOME on thirdgens. I saw a Iroc on ZO6 rims about a month ago it was BADASS!!! I think you should go the way of the ZO6
