Question what type of piston are my car!

i have an 89 iroc-z i believe my motor is an lb9, and my question is do i have forged pistons??

nope... you have cast i do believe... but definately not forged

Yep, cast pistons. They're pretty high quality cast pistons but still just cast. Designed for light weight with low tension rings for best fuel economy. Still, they can take beating. Just don't expect them to live long under detonation in a boosted or nitroused application.
