What timing chain to use?

Hey guys. If I am going to put a LT1 cam in a late model roller block, all I need is a double roller timing chain FOR a late model block, and there should be no interferance problems with the chain rubbing on the block or timing cover, right? Thanks.

You are correct. As long as the timing set is for 87-up non-LT1 OEM roller applications it will work fine. You may have to push the alignment dowel in a bit on the LT1 cam but it will function fine. GMPP sells a very affordable single roller HD timing set as well that comes with all new bolts and a thrust plate and bolts.
