what size stall should i get for a 700r4 with a mooser 9 in .
rear end? engine is a stock 305

 

What are your plans for your car? Do you plan on street racing it, or you want the converter for better 60' times? That 305 won't benefit from more than a 2400 stall, as for STR it would depend on what you want (lower = easier on tires, good for highway rolls, best for street racing. higher = harder on tires, great for lowering 60' times (with sticky tires), not good for street racing (spin the tires easily)). I would recommend, for you, a 2000 with a 2.5 STR. What other mods do you have? Do you run BFG/Nitto DRs?
