There's a 1990 Camaro for sale around in this area and I need to know what I should be cautious of when buying it. Its a V6 auto, ps,pb,a/c, etc. and I want it for a daily driver. My 93 T/A is sidelined with a blown head gasket so I need something else to drive while I build an all-out drag motor for the T/A. The place wants $1995 for it, haven't checked it out but what should I look for? compression test? what else?

 

Look under the car for holes start it to see if there`s any smoke or ticking open the door to see if it drops down when open if it did it needs door hinges check the wheel bearing tierod ends and take it out for a test run and beat on it don`t drive like a little old lady if its T-tops check for water inside

 

If it has t-tops take it threw a car wash to see if it leaks. Look under the car make sure the oil pan doesnt have a dent in it or the floor pan isnt to beat up.
