i've tried quite a few of them and settled with my baer track kit with all the goodies.

the best budget oriented brakes for the street are the stock 4 disc setup with good working components, great pads, and braided brake line.

C5/Z06 stuff.

kandied91Z and I have had a debate previously about the best bang for the buck brakes...and I still believe that C5 stuff is at the top of that list.

When you see World Challenge C5s running stock GM calipers...that proves what they're capable of. World Challenge class cars can run aftermarket stuff if they desire, and the C5s that compete know that they're stuck stuff is better than or equal too aftermarket, so they don't see a need to change. Their confidence enstills confidence in me.

Ahh the great brake debate...again..

I'm running full 1LEs on my Iroc, and C4 fronts on my RS. I favor the C4 brakes as they are a bit more flexible than the C5/ZO6 brakes, I.E. you can fit C4 brakes under 15" wheels if you want. The others alomost require you to go up to 17s.
