Angry What the hell is that noise?

I have an 84 Z28 with a 700r4 tranny with a shiftkit....alot of fun to drive, but lately when I gun it really hard & it catches second gear I hear this wicked krinkle, like somthing is buckeling in the rear end,I have brand new u joints,so it cant be that. But someone told me I should add stiffner bars to the frame,Has anyone had this or heard of this problem.................Please let me know your opinion

holy junk!!!! my 83 w/700r4 does that too, if i punch it from a stop it makes a strange creaking noise, so i hope someone will know what the deal is, but my only other guess could be exhaust leak maybee. my car also makes a "ding" noise when i go over bumps which could be related to the exhuast hitting something, or the u joint.

on the other hand it could very well be the frame twisting, which would be fixed by sub frame conectors. although it really troubles me to think that my frame can twist that much from an lg4

inspect the area around the front on the rear LCA's for cracks, I have heard the early third gens had a problem with weak spots there

The way the torque arm is set up on 3rd gens puts a lot of stress on the trans mount. I went through 3 in 6 months before I switched to poly.
