can you help me figure out what engine i have... i think its a 350/5.7L but i bought the car used from a private owner... It's a V8 lol for sure... also it's a 1984 firebird had a V8 swap... the guy who i bought it off of said it was a 1973 chevy 350... also what kind of rims do i have? Also have a 4-barrel edelbrock carb

From the pictures all you can tell is it's a small block chevy, but the 350 would the most likely choice for an upgrade.

 

get casting number off the very back of block,

if you look behind the distributor and down, where the bell housing bolts to the motor

post the numbers,

I'll tell you what block it is
