With some 4.10s, I would be happy to hit high 12s on motor at my altitude (3500 feet). More then happy, but we'll see.

The one thing that stands out that might hurt you is the rear gear. A move to a 4.10 would help lots. This car so equipped should be into the 11's on slicks, easy. Granted, I am assuming sea level or close to it. At your altitude, it should at least be into the mid-12's. Corrected, somewhere into the 11's.

Run it with the stock gears and see how it goes. This engine should make a lot of power; you've got a lot of very good parts on it, esp the Vic Jr. heads and solid roller. My guess is it should be close to 500-525HP at the flywheel, possibly more. Pretty stout combo you have there.

Should be a real rocket.

I am using my old shortblock, sold my RPM heads and bought Victory Juniors. The solid roller, endura x lifters and comp 1.52 pro RR, all new in a box, I got in a trade for a used 455 Olds intake, 750 Edelbrock carb with jet kit and Accel coil!!! I would have maybe picked a slighly different grind if I had a choice, but this was too good a deal to pass up. I am also thinking of running an electric waterpump and S10 steering box. I hope it makes some good power. A 383 for next year is in the making.
