what is a baro sensor

my check engine code read baro sensor? what is that and where is it located....how much would it cost....it is on an 89 rs 305........thanks

It's a Barometric Pressure Sensor. If I remember correctly it adjusts the air/fuel ratio based on altitude.

I don't recall where it's located on your car. I'll check my repair manual.
