Were the 92 stripes painted on or stickers?

Were the 92 stripes painted on or stickers?
Im thinking about putting some on mine. I was thinking silver, did they come in silver?

Don't know what all the colors were, but they were stickers. It was called the "Heritage Package".

At the start of the model year run, the Heritage Appearance Package came in only three color combos, all available on RS's and Z28's:
1) Red exterior with black stripes,
2) Black exterior with red stripes, &
3) White exterior with red stripes.
Later in the production year, two additional combinations were added:
4) Polo green exterior with gold stripes &
5) Purple haze exterior with silver stripes.
The Polo green with gold was available on the RS only. The purple haze with silver was definitely available on the RS. I have yet to have any confirmation that it was available on the Z28.

Well yearone has the kits. Also they have the silver z28 stripes. Anyone know were I can get these cheaper? Anyone think the black with silver stripes would look bad?

Don't know about where your from, but here close to my house there is a guy who has the machine to make his own vinal(sp) stickers for cars. After my car was painted he replaced all of the decals for 40 bucks, and he even put them on. He could make anything you could think of. I'm sure it would be cheeper than somethign like year one.
