Check my post in your other thread...but...

Call TPIS at 952.448.6021 and ask for Jim. Tell him I told you to call...he's very good...and can help you out and get it all set to go.

Thumbs up

Two options......One: Check the resistance of the key(diode in the key) and buy you a resistor that matches...sodler it onto the wires and DONE!!!!....Second....Buy a new lock cylinder without VATS (25.00) and replace the old one. Take old one wtih key inserted and slip it under dash (with wires hooked up)...the ECM will see the diode and let you start your car with the new cylinder. Also acts like an anti theft....Pull old key out and no one can start the car!!! I just went ahead and replace mine with a new Vats for about 80.00 from GM dealership
