vacum hose repair?

Is there any way to repair a vacum line? Today I put a small rip in my defrost vacum line (blue) behind the heater controls. I know exactly where the leak is, and I can hear it when my engine is running. Is there a quick fix for this or do I have to run an entire new line?

Vacuum fix

The plastic vacuum line can be fixed by cutting the line and spliceing together with windshield washer tubing.
