Thumbs up underdrive pulleys

i have an '89 iroc with a 350 in it, and i was thinking about investing in some underdrive pulleys i was wondering what kind i should buy i saw a bbk set for $129.00 and a march set for about the same they both inlcude 2 new pulleys, and my second question is how easy are they to install i took a look and my pulley and it looks pretty clear, you know nothing in the way so is it just a matter of taking the belt of and putting the new pulleys in???

Thanks in advance to all who reply!

Yep easy install.
You'll need a new length belt.

My dad installed these on the IROC about 10 years ago, took about 3-4 hours cause he broke a bolt or something. Like said you'll need a new length bolt, and it's as easy as that. You'll need a new belt according to what pullies etc you get.

I think it's a great mod, just don't plan on keeping your altenator if you have a system or constantly have your AC blasting.

easy install like stated previously, but there is one more thing to look at. make sure the coating on the pulleys in a non corrosive type, cause mine rusted on the first power wash, and i had to strip em and paint em. i always learn the hard way.

i wouldn't for a daily driver or a car with mild mods......they just don't show enough to warrant all the hassles they bring.

I have the March Pulleys sitting on the shelf and the instructions recommend using an air gun to install them, but is it possible to the job without one?

Yes it's perfectly possible, just takes a little more elbow work.
