hey everybody got a little question that im hoping i get a good answer too. i want to put a turbo on my 84 camaro but i haven't been able to find one that fits. any info on this would be greatly appreciated

I'd take it to an all out race shop if you don't know what you're getting into. They would have the knowledge and know how and they might even share it with you Nobody that I know of makes a kit that you could use so everything will need to be thought out, tested, etc before you would probably be happy. Goodluck.

Also, if you read up(and read everything you can get your hands on) you'll see that it wouldn't be extremely effective to turbocharge that engine. Other things could be more effective first, and building a purpose built(turbo in your case) engine would definately put a bigger smile on your face in the long run. Goodluck.

 

thats a good point. ive got my 350 and i plan on building up my whole engine until the thing is bullet proof because why put a turbo on a stock setup and run 6-8 pounds of boost when you can do up your engine and then run a 25 pound boost on it hell running twin turbos rould have a scary effect on a well built engine. thats at least the plan for mine.
