Tranny rebuild.???? NEED HELP!

If I get an Iroc with a t5 and 305, then drop a 350 in there. Is it possible to just do a high Perf rebuild on the tranny instead of gettin a whole new setup. Seeing that the t5 will not be able to handle the 350, and to save some money. I want to drop a 350 on that t5 but im afraid if I do the tranny wont last. But I also dont want to spend a grip of money getting a whole new tranny just to accomodate the 350. WHAT TO DO???

i dont think you can really beef up that T5 to much, if i was you i would save some money up and just buy yourself a t56 those are quality transmissions that can hold up to the hell you give it!

you can beef up the tranny sure and make it handle a good amount more than it can now but i wouldnt want to put a bunch of money in the tranny, then it breaks in 6 months and then you need a t56 anyway. if youre easy on it the t5 will hold up for a couple months so if i was you id put the t5 in and baby it until you have the money for a t56. hope that helps.
ps. how much power is the 350 gonna be makin?
