How much hp/tq can the stock tranny on a 305/350 tpi take? if i excede that limit, what tranny should i look at? a t-56?

 

I doubt it can take too much more than stock if you drive it hard. You could rebuild it to take much more power. My stock rebuilt A4 lasted 6 months behind my 383 and after rebuild, it lasted 3.5 years with me beating on it.

 

You have a 700-R4 now? If, too much power either built 700 (probuilt.com) or a T56, which is what I have, but not because of the power thing...
