TPI timing or TPS adjustment question....

Hey guys! I'm ususally posting on the LT1 forum but I need to get some help from you guys over here in the 3rd gen forum. I just recently bought a 1984 Chevy Blazer that has a 1989 350 in it with a TPI injection system from a 1985 IROC. The truck runs great and the motor was rebuilt about 10k ago, but there's something wrong with either the timing, the fuel pressure, or the TPS position down low. The truck idles perfectly but once you give it a little gas it want's to bog-down and stumble (almost dies). The only way to prevent this from happening is to really give it a lot of gas. If I push down fairly hard on the petal then it takes off well and runs fine until I take off again from a complete stop. I adjusted the TPS and it seemed to help it, however, it's idling very high now. So I know the TPS adjustment isn't the answer here. I've never really dealt with how to adjust the timing because I don't know if I should rotate the distributor or if something needs to be read off of the computer (which was installed in the glove box of the Blazer). Once the truck gets past that low part it runs really well. Any ideas on how I can make this thing run smoother down low?

I bought the truck from a guy who told me that I needed to adjust the TPS and that the truck is running really rich (there's an AFPR on the motor and I smell gas BAD when I'm in the Blazer) but I'm not sure why he didn't make the adjustment before he sold it to me. This leads me to believe that the problem may be more complex than he thought, which is probably why he sold me the Blazer for next-to-nothing.

ANY, and I mean ANY info on this is greatly appreciated. I'm trying to get this thing running perfectly so that I can make it my daily driver. Then I can park my Z.

First off what is your TPS reading? Your Fuel pressure, and your timing?
