I've got an '87gta i'm putting a different motor in,mainly because the 305 it came with was junk.I'd like to go the whole LS retro-mod route but I'm not sure i can afford to.i haven't been able to find a tpi 350 I'm comfortable with so I was wondering if i could buy a regular 350 long block,either carb or tbi,and then just put the tpi setup on it so the electrical hook-up would remain the same.its got a 700r4 tranny.will this work as easy as it seems, or am i just doing some wishful thinking?

 

sorry, read a little more into the forum and found some threads that already covered my question.I've been a user for about a year now and have found tons of good info and I really appreciate having someplace to find it.
