i wanna say i "think" the hooker 2055 headers will fit the factory Y but by going with the factory Y it half defeats the purpose of using headers. the Y that goes with the 2055's fits lie a champ and is pretty darn near RTR once ya bolt it up.

i believe they have a version for dual cats. the best thing to do is give em a call and see what they say. i have the 205 system and single cat.

and the 2055 headers install easy also. drops right in on the dr side from the top and yank the starter on the pass side.
you will need a spark plug tool powerhouse tools sells thru COMP CAMS but it makes life MUCH easier. i picked one up while i worked there. comes with a long and short socket.

As far as I know, the Hooker 2055's only come in single cat versions. And they come with AIR whether you want it or not. They do install nicely though. If you still have the original dual cats, it wouldn't be much more expensive to switch to a single high flow cat when you do headers.

Personally I'd go for the Dyno Don headers. They come with or without AIR and you have the choice of single or dual cat versions. They're 1 3/4 primaries, 2.5" Y-pipe. One of the best features of them is the smooth Y-pipe junction where it goes from 2 pipes into 1. They're parallel in that regard. The Hookers are more of a T-connection there. Plug access is good and the performance is definitely there.

You'd need to get a hold of Dyno Don over on Thirdgen.org to buy these headers.

Thanks for posting that Gord. I just replied to his other thread without seeing this one first.
