TPI conversation to an LT1
you dont need the comp, wire harness, just the intake. check out

Well, I was referring to take the intake. I know about that, even though I still haven't seen any dyno results or any other stories about it.
I'm talking about everything though. Doesn't the L98 fire differantly than the Lt1? I just figured if I got the computer, wireing harness, fuel rail, injectors, and the intake from a 96-97 Camaro I could bolt everything on my L98, drop the TPI and I could also use the OBDII.

The hardest part would be figuring out how to convert the Dist signal into an opti signal for the PCM.
I am not sure if you can run an Opti on a regular sbc and run an sbc waterpump and I am not sure if an LT1 waterpump with an electric pump will bolt to a regular sbc.
I could have tried this at one time when I had a couple of 305's and LT1's in my garage, but now all I have are LT1 parts.
