Question tpi

i'm switching from a tpi to a carb and i'm wondering what exactly needs to be done what about the computer what does it control also the wiring in the engine compartment is it all wired together , what i mean is do i need a new one



p.s also selling complete 1987 305 motor with tpi (everything withthis system comp.,entire manifold,inj every sensor

i know that the carb is a lot less restrictive then lets say a tpi unit but for someone with a tpi are the power gains worth switching to carbed?

you know i don't know i've been looking into this matter alot and i never really get a straight answer from anyone the minute i think the tpi is great somone tells me it's only a restriction besides all that i think about $ per horse power and in that aspect carbs rule besides i'm thinking blower comin out of my hood i don't see any third gens like this

tpi's are real restrictive. both have their advantages...you can make a carbed motor faster for cheaper, but then on the EFI side, econonmy and reliability are a factor...depends on what you want.

i want somthing diff and i havn't seen a blower poppin out of a 3rd gen hood yet so i'll prob. build a 355 383 or if i can get one a 327 shoould be cool
