I buying a rebuilt tranny with out a torque converter. So I thought this would be a good time to buy an aftermarket one and put it in. I have bone Stock 86 Iroc 305 TPI. What stall should I get or is stock good enough. Im looking to spend $200-$300, on the converter. Anybody have any suggestions. I plan on working the engine a bit in the future but nothing to crazy

 

SLP sells a 2400 RPM stall for about $300. A good choice for a stock or built up motor. I have used one for the last three years.
