Top speed

what is the top speed of a 87 Iroc-z with a L-98 with bolt on's

well from stock i "think" were around 140 mph? depends on the bolt ons what are they? My car has a shift kit and headers but it also has 3.73 gears....figure they cancel each other out

the auto l98 cars with 2.73 gears will do 145
the LB9 g92 cars..will top out at 147...mine did anyway

Mine did a 157 with a Tremec TKO/K&N/headers and 2.77 gears. What a rush!

I had mine at 140 and still pulling with the mods below.

When they were new GM and most magazines were quoting a top speed of 145-147mph for the L98 350 cars the G92 LB9 305's could do about the same since you could hold a higher gear.

To really see any difference in top speed you will need some pretty serious bolt ons.
