i want a good tire for cornering but also want a tire with a good launch and be able to handle the 383.
i have 265/50r16 radial t/a on the back right now and the suck.
i also want a resonable price range
and even a size suggestion
i am running stock 16x8 irocs(1987)

I have found that COMP T/A VR4's are awesome at both, They are no longer being made (replaced by G-Force) but many places still have alot of them left.

I ran 6 different tire combos on my 94 Trans Am GT and I had the best results with the VR4's.
