This site usually doesn't respond either. And its during the day or night. No pattern. I get very frustrated. By the way, this post will probably be moved to the Forum.

Yeah, go to a site with 8 threads per section instead of 80k per section.

Yeah...and that 80K per section site that gets and average 1 reply per thread and seems to be down all the time...

Takes alot of bandwidth to hold 112,029 threads about airfoils.

1 reply per thread? In what section? I've *never* had a problem getting replies, as long as your question can't be answered using a simple search, the people there are very help full.

Now those guys I can vouch for. The site owner was even nice enough to give me code to parts of his site so I could add it to my local car club site. Jeremy on there has a bad *** LS1 bird.

If you do not like my site, then don't go there. It was started April of this year and is still new compared to the others out there.

Your local site is pretty slick, too bad there is barely any one reading it.

Re: thirdgen.org/

We have about 10-20 active users at this point. Considering there are 3 local clubs in Austin, afbforums.com, texasfbody.org, and us, thats not too bad. Unforunatly, most of the thirdgens in Austin are driven by people without computers, or the cars are so trashed we don't want to give them a card.

And I'm not trashing your site, I'm just saying, that without the knowledable userbase like TGO or T3G has, people are better off asking somewhere else, unless you yourself can answer all the questions.

BTW, you should make your logo a little bit less wide, and put your adsense code next to it, your header is uber big ;-)

I didn't mean to start a war. I was just wondering what happened to the sight at the time. It was back up and working just fine an hour after I started this thread.

Re: thirdgen.org/

War? Its on! lol

Yeah, the new owners of the site seem to be taking pretty good care of it, but just like all popular servers, eventually something will break and can take a little while before its noticed and fixxed.

One of the local club sites here, which is the biggest, has been down more than up lately it seems.

Isn't web development fun? ;-)
