I remember seeing an article in a magazine about GM building a third gen camaro with a turbo 4.3. Does anybody know where i can find that article.

 

I think i have that in one of my old 80s motor trends.The car was purple with a weird wing.I will look when i get home and tell you the month/year/mag.You should be able to buy it on ebay for cheap.

I just look thru my HUGE stack of 80s car mags and didnt see it on the cover so i will have to go thru them one by one.It will take a few days but if i find it i will let you know.

 

Good news!I just found it in the december 1989 motor trend.The car is called the evolution iroc.Starts on page 64.Its a pretty mean looking car.The car was a joing effort between the mag and chevy.They were disappointed that they only got a 0-60 in 6.2 and the 1/4 in 14.8@91.9 considering all of the money they put in it.
