I know this has been asked a million times but will the t-56 bolt right up to 80s camaros. I have heard so many different things that I am not sure anymore... ALso what other tranny options do I have... I know the corvette tranny from the 80s fits anyone know what it is?

T-56 will bolt right on up....you need a conversion flywheel and tranny crossmember, and if the car has a factory mechanical clutch the pedals wont work, they need to be for a hydro clutch. Otherwise the swap is dead simple, almost like it was meant to be there.

k because I heard you have to move the engine 6 inches forward to do this... I am good at making custom mounts and things like that so that should be easy... does my origional drive shaft fit in? Also what is the difference between conversion flywheel and normal one? So will I need a new pressure plate and clutch disk?
