My 406 made 481.5 @ the crank with a HSR,8:5:1 Compression, AFR 220's.

Here it is.

What is up with the low compression? Adding a blower later?

Yeah, it had a ATI D-1SC added later. Made 780 @6100 W/12lbs. ALL with a HSR!

Wow. 480hp is a lot for a motor set up for forced induction to make NA.

Yeah I think it's pretty good considering it is 8:5:1 compression, WAY to much fuel with 65lbs injectors, and being dyno tested in the 102 degree summer heat with 91 pump gas. 25HP off the pace of the LS7 and giving up Cubic inces and a inferior head design.

In a car, it will be better b/c you are lighter than I am(takes less throttle and less drag) and you have better aerodynamics. So you can afford to go bigger. AFR did a dyno with a 230/236 cam .510/.520 lift and made 510hp. Now, add there new 300cfm heads(195cc Eliminator heads) to the mix and you have about ~525 hp at the flywheel. The 224/230 cam will make about ~490fwhp with the new heads. And try and keep a 112+ LSA for better idle and drivibility characteristics.

I ordered thier new 195 eliminator heads...they told me they flow 286 and 215. they are not in production yet...said about a month but Im on the list with a $500 deposit...said I should see they in 8-10 weeks....price was good ...I guess

I got time anyways...
