should i get edelbrock rpm heads or trickflow 23*.im pretty much set on the trickflows with upgraded springs but i dont kow if the 195cc runners will be to much.i have a 2800 stall and 3.73 w/auburn posi.im also going to be installing the zz-9 cam.anyone with close to the same set up please post your opinion.thanks

I had TFS heads once before. The driver side had abnormal wear on the valve guides and that caused the pushrods to wear the guideplates and probably a spring bound and broke so the piston hit the valve and I needed a new motor. I would not use TFS as anything more than a doorstop. If you must use them, get them bare and fit anything you want on it. I got the upgraded spring kit too.

I've got TFS 23* on both my car's and they are great heads i think. Never had any problems with them and they really wake up with a port and polish job. Good heads! Don't know anything about the rpms so i don't guess my opinion really counts!

I don't know about the heads themselves. They have decent flow numbers but I question their QC as I have lost my LPE383 engine as a result of those heads.
