supercharged 305tbi

anybody have any info on this combo? There's one for sale in the area. Just wondering on hp or maybe track times. Car is in decent shape and priced right. Was thinking of improveing on this combo to make a sleeper out of it. Im looking for a fun project. I figure this car is maybe a low 14sec ride.

I guess it depends. Is the car stock with a super charger or is the engine modified first. Also what size s/c is it and how much boost. Theres to many variables to consider what kinds of times/numbers it will have.

if anything i say you build your super charger set up on the 305 work all the kinks out and build a 350 for boost while you do that. then when the 350 is ready swap everything from the 305 to the 350...

an then you have one hell of a ****ing set up.

TB 305s made something like 150 to the wheels right??? 8 pounds of boost would figure you netting (with an average of 6 rwhp per pound) 48 more horses. That would be 198 rwhp or just say 200 even. Add on some usual mods to bump it up to about 225ish and you are on par with a stock 99-04 GT. I would say the car runs mid to high 14s. If you buy the car, swap a L98 or crate into it and throw the charger at it. Then you can have a 300 rwhp vehicle knocking on high 12s.

Just my thoughts
