Stupid Question

I know this is going to sound stupid but is there any difference between an L98 block and a 4 bolt main 350 block?

Oh, and does anyone know what the G92 "perfomance ratio axle" was in 1992?

if you get a L98 off a corvette, they too are 4 bolt main 350 blocks... so i guess there wouldn't be that much of a difference?

from what i understand, 2 bolt main blocks are fine, but ppl use 4 bolt mains blocks if they plan on making a lot of horse power with that block.

theoretically and within reason, all 350 blocks from 57 to 97 were *essentially* the same.

In your case, there should be almost no differences at all in the blocks. GM is not one for changing things! Haha. The L98 was pretty simply a standard 350 block with a hyd roller train.
