stalling out
my iroc keeps stalling out apon starting it its a summer car in good condition so i store it for the winter and start it up every couple of days to keep the motor lubed. well when i start it up itll run like **** an gag and cough for 2 seconds till it stalls out and the fuel pump keeps running even if i turn the key back off after it stalls the fuel pump keeps running. second time i start it she cranks up and runs like a charm just wondering whatt the hell is going on
check the fuel pump relay or regulator
check coil
and its not good for the car to start it when its in storage unless you can give the car a good run on the street.
its actually better if you let it sit and do all the tthings like gas stabalizer, change fluids and then lube cylinder walls before you fire it up in the summer

hook up a fuel pressure gauge to the inj rail with the first key cycle after an 8 hour soak, turn on the key and check the pressure you should see 40-45 psi with the "prime" if it takes a few key ups to achieve 40 psi...the pump is shot.
