sportlines with headers?
sportlines with headers?
alright heres the deal, im going to be lowering my car this weekend and i was planning on going with the Sportlines, and in a few weeks am going to be adding headers/catback, but was told that the sportlines might be a bit too low and have some ground clearance problems with the headers/exhaust. will i have enough room? or should i play it safer and just go with the Pro-kit??? and suggestions welcome, i just need some educated opinions. Thanks

Some long tubes have clearance problems with extreme lowering kits. If you ahvent already bought the headers just go with mid-lengths. They give near the same performance gains as LT's but you can use your lowering kit worry free
I havent even decided on what headers yet (but was thinking of these, http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...59&prmenbr=361 ) it's just got an lg4 right now, but by mid June will most likely have a 350 in it's place. I'm pretty sure I'm sold on the Gale Banks catback w/ the 4th gen muffler section, but what would really be the best bang for the buck Header wise??
Thanks again...

if you aren't sure what motor combo and exhaust your doing you should wait.....
while the sportlines aren't exaclty nice riding they look cool, lt's on the car will definately give you issues but shorties should be good. i had no problems with my dynomax jet coated shorties with an extreme drop.
