speedo/inst. lights
speedo/inst. lights
I know this is a lame question, but how do I replace the instrument panel lights...I tried access by removing the dash pad, but had no luck....any suggestions would be appreciated...by the way, this is for a '91 RS.
Re: speedo/inst. lights
i dont know about thirdgen camaros. I've taken apart thirdgen firebird and forthgen camaro dashes. Just start taking off bolts and parts in front and and th e bottom of the dash until you get it out. Then twist off the bulbs and replace them. If ALL the bulbs are out, check your fuses and then check your wires.
Re: speedo/inst. lights
Take the screws out of the face plate, remove the face plate Drop the two nuts off the steering column <makes it easier>, take the 5-6 screws out of the white plastic guage cluster and it should come out. I think <long time ago>, you have to disconnect the speedo cable and the wiring plug to get the cluster out. Once out, the bulbs are on the back side. I think they are a 194LL are the replacements that you want if your using the Auto Store bulbs. 90 degree twist CCW, releases them from the contact sheet on the back side.
