Cool Some Pics of the Restoration so far

Well, its been a long year and a half not being behind the wheel of my Camaro, but its starting to pay off. Here are some pics of the work completed so far. Keep in mind, there was a lot of rot and rust that needed to be repaired. I am coming to the home streatch.

Nope, that is a 2006 Cadillac Color. It is going to be a 2 tone with a gunmetal grey underneath. That is all I can disclose though. I have to maintain the suspense.

The undercarriage just has a flat black on it now. I sure wish I could get some powdercoating but as you know that costs big bucks.

If your a sucker for a clean engine compartment, take a good look at the firewall. That had some work done to it. I would have flattened it out completely but the steering/brakes made it difficult. As well as the support/stability factor.

Can you tell me more about your brake/rotor setup? I was wondering where you got the rotors and if those are the normal 3rd gen caliper or did you swap them? Either way it looks really good so far.

The brake set up is a set straight from Baer brakes. I beleive it is the Track system. They are 13 inch rotors with dual piston calipers. One thing for sure, it will fill behind the wheel nice.
