Small block chevy in mustang

Hey guys, i just got an 88 mustang for dirt cheap, came with the 4 cylinder.
I want to stick my 383 stroker and turbo 350 in it. how hard do you think this would be? Know of anyplace that makes motor mounts for a sb chev?

Its going to be a drag car only, so im gonna be chopping it up anyways, what do you think?

plenty of people do it and the aftermarket is very large, just search the net. the gen III is the most popular right now here in michigan for that.

I knew a guy that did it.. He used some square tube stock.. like 3inches tall by 8inches wide by 8inches long.. He mounted the engine in using the square tube stock bolted the square tube stock right to the block with three bolts and then attached those to the frame some how.. and a turbo 350.. That was a fast car.. It was a 80 something and that motor came outta a 85 HO Camaro with a carb.. Some drag shocks, sway bar gone, lots of weight loss.. that thing would pull the wheels off the ground every time..

Re: Small block chevy in mustang

well, pretty much the only reason im putting in the stroker is that i have it sitting in my garage just waiting for a car. My camaro and formula are just how i want them, and i know that the genn III mustangs can get really light when they are stripped out.
