SLP Rims
Has anyone used the new 17" SLP rims (ss camaro copies) for the thirdgen yet..
the ones that have the correct offset for thirdgens?
I am thinking about getting a set - and Im wondering how fat a tire will fit in back with these rims. (I think they are only 8" wide rims) Id like to at least fit a 275/4/017 drag radial on them.

i've seen a few and they are alright, most don't care for them though because they only offer a 8" wide version. you could stretch that DR on there however your street driving will suffer as far as handling is concerned. plenty do it all the time though.
a 245/40/17 is the right tire for that size.
