Where would be some of the best place to get a shortblock 350+?
I have vortec heads and LT-4 Hotcam #24502586,and partial TPI set up to go on the engine. Would prefer a shop in California, Arizona and Nevada so as to pick it up. I have been without my car long enough.

And if you can't afford LPE, try asking around some of the local shops in your area.

 

I don't know about your area but the people I talked to who were somewhat known around my area for doing performance work instead of simply rebuilding the engine to stock specs charged about what LPE wanted less a few hundred when comparing engines based on what parts LPE uses.
