seats

I somehow managed to damage my drivers seat to the point where it will not pass inspection. As such, I need to get a new one.

I had planned on just getting a full set of leather seats, used, from a 3rd or 4th gen, since the existing seats are all cloth, and not great anyway. Sadly, time is running out, and I cant seem to find anyone selling a color I'd take (black/grey) in decent condition, for $400 shipped..

And so, I'm thinking I'm just going to buy a drivers seat, since really, that's the only one I NEED to replace, and I need to be buying this tonight or tomorrow. So my question to you all is: what's a good drivers seat I can get (pref. leather) for $400 shipped to PA? I know nothing about seats, so anything you guys can tell me would be much appreciated.

If I'd had the money two months ago, I would've

The car's gettin some good overhaulin done to it right now.
New seat(s), new rear shocks, new front tires, new rear brakes, possibly a new top, new bushings... all kinds of goodies.

I checked ebay, but they've got nothing worthwhile, and like I said, I'm in a rush.

thanks, but cloth is easy I was really hopin to upgrade to leather.

If I'm not gonna go leather for everything, then I'll just get one pretty nice drivers seat

Hawks 3rd gen parts always has a few sets of 3rd and 4th gen seats in leather and cloth (and sometimes fake leather)

right now it looks like all he has in real leather is white, but keep watching his main page, he'll get black or grey shortly.

scroll down toward the bottom of the main page to see the seats he has now.

Only trouble is, his cheap seats that I like are about 2x what I can afford, and I need to have the seats in my mechanic's hands by the end of the week.

Depends how much shipping is, but my real question is: will they fit?

considering that I have the convertible, which apparently is somehow radically different from the coupes, as almost nothing will fit between the two

no they wont fit lol apparently the corbeau brackets to put them in a third gen just plain suck, but for seats you can always fab something up or just find a way to use youre stock brackets on the seats.
