Why hasn't a scan master been made for the 3rd gen camaros? They are made for the Grand Nationals and the computers in both cars aren't really that different.

i have a datamaster setup that uses the aldl (sp*) cable port that reads everything on laptop. there are also gm tech pieces like snapons scanning tool as well as a few other companies and even a few free software packages that will simply scan our cars.

what are you looking to do? all of these pieces will work for engine management and some help with actuall programming. the basics of them will scan sensors and a few will read trouble codes as well. most have been out for years...

 

We have an Auto scan that is for every car made from 82 & newer. Cost us about $200.
