Question Replacing 700R4 with a 350, any problems???

My 700R4 tranny got messed up, and I was wondering if there were any problems installing it into my 1986 Z28 (non-electronic tranny btw). Also is the 700 in my car a long or a short tail tranny? And modifications to be done? Also the tranny was given to me for free from a VERY generous friend.

Find a 82 Camaro or Firebird with an automatic (200c) in the junkyard and take its driveshaft. Also, you will need the TH-350 swap kit from B&M which will help you with the transmission mount situation and with a place to mount the torque arm on the back.

ah ok so the B&M kit will solve that problem with the torque arm as well. Im about to do this swap as well, but Im pretty sure I have the long tail-shaft TH-350 so I think I can use the same drive shaft.
