Question Regulator for TPI to Carb swap

Anyone used the Mallory three port racing regulator (about 74.99) to run a carb with the high pressure in tank fuel pump?

A friend of mine has and he's had no problems in the past 3 years running it that way. He just upgraded to a Walbro 255gph pump last week. His car runs in the high 10's
