Redoing front brakes. brake lines?

Im redoing my front disc brakes. I got some replacment rotors from AZ and also got new Bendix Titainium pads and also new calipers.

I need to replace my brake lines too, do I really want to spend the extra money on SS lines from Earls or would it be Ok to just get new rubber lines?

I mean I got the money but then again I dont...

what do you guys suggest? Will the differnce reallly be that much from my old 17 year old lines to new rubber lines to SS lines?

I don't have 17 yo rubber lines. I had 12 and they sucked compared to the Earl's line. BTW, it is 5 pieces. One for each wheel with a center brake line. Yes it is worth it. Pedal firmed up so much I wonder why I didn't do it earlier.

Get the SS brake lines for upgrading your front brakes.

Will the SS brake lines fit into the stock pieces. My pedal is kinda soft and I would love to beef up the brakes.

Worked fine for me. No guesswork. Get the right part and you are fine. The "give" in the old tired rubber is probably what gives it the soft feeling, assuming you have bled your brakes properly. Also when you do this, it would be good to flush the brake lines and reservior so you have fresh fluid. I do this once a year
