I have a 84 z28, i was wondering if i can do 410 gears in the rearend, It is an automatic,and if i can do 410 gears, whats are some pros and cons, thanks

 

pro-really fast acceleration
cons- youll get like 3 mpg highway, it will completly kill your top end, you may have trouble getting traction, and if your car is more or less stock it will kill your 1/4 mile times because its way too steep, youd probably be better off with 3.42's or maybe 3.73's all depending on what mods youre running. This is all assuming its a stock tranny.

 

The gears will be a little steep unless you're going to bring her up to 6k. I'd go with 3.73's. Almost all of the Auto 4th gen guys go with them. 3.42's if you want good mpg and semi good acceleration. What's all done to the car? And it's the LG4?
