i want to put the highest gear possible and be at the end of third gear by the time i finish the line in the 1/4 mile. any suggestions on what gear to go with? i dont know where im shifting due to the fact that my tach doesn't work, so i'd be assuming that my car is shifting at the same spot as every other A4 350 would be.

and also... i plan on getting the mini ram in a few months... what would be a good rear end gear for that setup? thanks guys for all your help

 

Depends on the rpm that you will be turning with your engine... MIni ram allows more rpms with the proper cam.

But usually anybody in safe with an auto running 3.73 and 4.11 with a manual with bolt ons...
